How did you discover raw foods and super foods?
My discovery of this path dawned after a moment of clarity I experienced while overseas in my early 20s. I had grown up on the conventional Australian diet and lifestyle (chemical laden and refined foods, antibiotics etc) and this had left my body in a state of extreme fatigue with a fungal overload and a suppressed brain functioning. However because this was all that I had ever known, I didn’t realise that this was anything unusual until I was struck with the vision of what my body was capable of and the levels of energy and vibrant health that I could restore to my everyday reality. From that moment I decided to create my diet and lifestyle out of the most potent and beneficial foods and practices on the planet, and thus I was attracted to eating foods that are the highest in nutrients and life force energy; raw food and superfoods.
Best health tip?
Firstly, do not take your body for granted. We have many years to spend on this amazing planet of ours and a lot of life to live, and we want our body to carry us all the way to the finish without suffering the typical degeneration that is affecting pretty much everybody these days as they age (and these negative effects are starting younger and younger). Instead of being the victim of this degeneration, get into the game of prevention right now. Add healthy rituals and habits into you personal culture this very minute, knowing that every time you do this, you are investing heavily in your future being filled with an abundance of health, longevity and ageless beauty.
Do you have a healthful morning ritual?
The greatest ritual I ever adopted was making myself a cleansing litre of spring water (with sea salt and MSM) before I go to bed, placing that water next to the book I am currently studying over night so it absorbs the vibration of the words, and drinking the entire thing as the first thing I do when I wake up. With its detoxifying and hydrating benefits, this practice has become a big piece of my health journey success.
Beyond this, I ideally like to sungaze, move the body as it wishes to, do some deep breathing and have a far-infrared sauna every morning.
Who are your health inspirations?
I am going to go super cliche and say my mum. I am fascinated and in wonder of her. The way she was able to come from one of the lowest socioeconomic beginnings possible in Australia, had no education as to what health actually is, had massive amounts of disinformation fed to her by the media and current medical system, and yet was still able to rise above that fear based “health education” (in which I’m speaking to the promotion of things like wheat, soy, refined dairy, conventional produce and pharmaceuticals being a lifestyle staple) and instil in me an understanding of what true health is and the tools to pursuit my desire for a state of health beyond my imagination. Thanks Mum, I know it was a rough journey, but we got there in the end.
Do you have a fav recipe you can share with us?
I thought I’d share one of my favourite superfood smoothie recipes that I developed to be a full spectrum of super nutrition for myself, The Royal Multi Smoothie.
This recipe acts like the ultimate multivitamin, but unlike all the synthetic vitamins and minerals you find in generic multis, this smoothie is full of living, holistic and complete foods, superfoods and tonic herbs that contain the full spectrum of nutrients your body, immune system and mind need to go above and beyond.
The Royal Multi
Ingredients:
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 blueberries

400ml almond mylk
Method:
Place all ingredients (except bee pollen) in a high powered blender and blend until smooth and pour into your favourite smoothie glass.
Sprinkle the bee pollen on top of the smoothie to give it a crunch and to promote chewing throughout your Royal Multi.
