How do you live in a real and raw way?

I love this question! For me, I think I wear my heart on my sleeve. If I am feeling it, you are going to know about it…HA! Raw happiness, raw energy and raw passion. I believe in living your life with the lights on, and grabbing your opportunities with both hands! I do my best to ride the waves that come with this crazy journey for sure, and always try and have my gratitude volume dialled all the way up. “Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.” BOO-YAAAH!

Being a busy Mumma, Wifey and Biz owner, what do you do to nurture yourself?

MEDITATE, and then I meditate some more…ZING!!

I need to hold space for my heart and my soul every day. Even if it’s just five minutes of a morning and night, thats my time, and it all starts to unravel if I miss it.

SELF CARE is key and if I don’t make time for me, my mood drops, my biz gets shoved to the side and I am absolutely not the mumma I want to be.

Part of keeping that balance is keeping active. I practise hot yoga twice a week, run once or twice a week and walk with the baby most days. We are super conscious of how we eat at home and I try and look at every meal as an opportunity to get as many nutrients as possible onto our plates 🙂

Do you have self-care non-negotiables?

ABSOLUTELY! I am the captain of my lives ship and if it’s a rockin, and I’m not vining at my best then we are all at risk of sinking. Meditation is a must for me, getting outdoors and movement. If I can get these in each day I have a far better chance at being balanced. It always comes down to choice too I think. I make the choice to fuel my body with clean nutritious food as often as possible, and this is a non negotiable for sure.

SLEEP is also spiritual practise in this house.  This woman needs to make priority for her ZZZZZ’s.

When do you feel most radiant?

After a good nights sleep and a hot poster yoga class. Add some sunshine to this recipe and you have yourself a WINNER!

Best health tip?

Listen to your body. It knows EXACTLY what you need. When we go within, we never go without and we are getting messages all day long from our fabulous rigs, and it’s up to us to listen and allow.

What is your favourite food/meal right at the moment?

Hmmmm, you know what I have just found? YOGI TEA. I am obsessed. The flavours are divine, and the little affirmations on the tags are spirit sent. I have one every evening to wind down..GENIUS!

Can you share a fav recipe with us?

I can share my fav green smoothie for sure! It’s kind of like a PINA COLADA.

1 pear

1/2 cup of frozen Pineapple

1 frozen banana

2 BIG handfuls of baby spinach

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

2 cups of coconut water

a little ginger for ZNG!

Blend until smooth. This usually makes enough to have a little extra as a snack for later on.

You can omit some of the fruit and add cucumber if you are watching your natural sugars, but this is a breakfast fav so it gives me plenty of energy.
