Raw Recipe – Chocolate Cheesecake
This cake is both decadent and delicious. It has so many health giving properties with cacao and avocado being the superstar ingredients. Cacao has incredibly high amounts of magnesium and, is an antioxidant. A true superfood! Avocado is an awesome source of good fats. You can have your cake and health benefits too!
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 cup of almond meal
- 3/4 cup of Medjool dates
Filling
- 1 cup cashews (soak cashews in water for 2 hours prior to soften)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 avocado (small to medium)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
Instructions
Crust
- Blend 1 cup of almond meal with 3/4 cup of Medjool dates. Press the mixture into a baking dish.
Filling
- Blend all of the filling ingredients together
- Scoop onto base and transfer to freezer until it is set firm.
